This is our first draft of the advertisement with the background of the cosmos picture below, this picture has the connotations of a happy side and a sad side, the full petaled daisy is the happy side also known as the mask or, if you pardon the pun, the cover, as this is our digipak cover but the link is there. The other side is a de-petaled flower which is the back cover of our digipak but it shows the feelings behind the cover or mask which is a melancholic feel as it is not as pretty and the petals are flowing through space surrounded by an endless void, however the pretty purple also works as mask to enshroud the bad feelings which amplifies the feel of album. This was the most favoured design out of the two.
This design was the least favoured of the two as it seemed to lack an amplification of the album feel as much as the other one did. This one is a big picture of a daisy used to show the album name, (Daisies of the Galaxy), however this lacked enough connotations and the other had more brand identity than this one although this one did also have the cosmos picture that the other one had as this one is the inside cover which is harder to establish unless you have actually bought the album and remember the inside where if you do not know the album it can be used to recognize it in shops or online such as on ITunes or HMV.
This is the two idea and the cosmos picture that will be used as a background.
